DEUTZ apprentices among the best in their fields

  • Max Engelhardt and Mats Stegemannn scoop up honors at regional and state-level apprentice awards
  • DEUTZ apprentices honored for the tenth consecutive year
  • Award for outstanding achievements

It is the tenth year in a row that apprentices from DEUTZ AG have been recognized by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce for their outstanding examination results at regional and state level.

This year, the Cologne Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) presented awards to two DEUTZ apprentices – Max Engelhardt, a metal technology apprentice (specializing in assembly technology) and Mats Stegemann, an apprentice production mechanic – for the excellent results they achieved in their final exams. DEUTZ AG itself also won an award from the Cologne IHK for the exceptional standard of its vocational training.
In addition, both apprentices from Cologne were honored by the Lower Rhine IHK as the best apprenticeship graduate of the year at federal state level in their respective vocation.
Since 2010, DEUTZ has now received 27 regional awards, 13 state-level awards, and two awards at national level.

“We are delighted that our work in vocational training has now been recognized by the Chambers of Industry and Commerce at regional and state level for the tenth consecutive year. The future potential of our company lies with our apprentices and we are very proud that our apprenticeship scheme is delivering such excellent achievements,” says Dr. Andreas Strecker, member of the Board of Management for finance, human resources, purchasing, and information services.
