The role of this position is to administrate the network infrastructure of all locations of DEUTZ AG company (Spain, Germany, USA, China, Italy,…), He / she shall be part of an international IT team, with Headquarters located in Cologne (Germany).

Job description

• Administration and monitoring of the existing network infrastructure (LAN / WAN / WLAN) in DEUTZ AG company
• Administration and monitoring of network core services DNS / DHCP
• Active participation in the automation of recurring tasks to optimize the network landscape (at best using Ansible) 
• Reliable 2nd level support and continuous system optimization
• Coordination towards manufacturer 3rd level support
• Ensure trouble-free 24/7 operation and optimum availability of the network landscape
• Project work as well as creation and maintenance of system documentation

Tu perfil

Required profile

• Successfully completed studies in the IT field or an apprenticeship in the same field with corresponding work experience
• Good knowledge (at least 3 years professional experience) in network administration as well as LAN, WAN, routing and switching
• Knowledge of the manufacturers CISCO, Meraki, HPE Aruba, Bluecat. Proof by certification desirable (CCNA / CCNP / ACMP)
• Experience in the field of Network Access Control
• Knowledge in the area of DDI (DNS/DHCP/IP-Address Management)
• Analytical procedure in troubleshooting situations
• Basic knowledge in IT security / firewalling
• Goal-oriented, careful and independent working method
• Good written and spoken English, knowledge of German is an advantage
